Megan Crain has been living in New York City for the last 3 years performing at venues such as Radio City Music Hall and Times Square’s Iridium Jazz Club (with the Barry Levitt Band). After a year of touring as background vocalist for New York City band, Rawson, Megan has now finished producing her debut EP. With influences of blues, funk and soul music, Megan’s sound could be paralleled to contemporaries such as Nikka Costa, Gavin DeGraw, Alicia Keys and Sara Bareillies.
With Donovan Pyle working as Audio Engineer, musical credits on the EP include: Megan Crain on Keyboards and Vocals, Jimi Sharp on Guitar, Edwin Alvarado on Bass and Donovan Pyle on Drums. As Megan promotes and performs songs off of her EP at various venues, festivals and universities across the country her songs receive radio airtime and are available for download.
